Ni - 50 - 55 %, Cr 11 -14 %, CU- 8- 10 %, MN - 13 - 16 % , SI Al Fe ( rest 6 % )
PROPERTIES & ADVANTAGES
1. It is beryllium free alloy with excellent castability
2. It is reusable with addition of appx 50% fresh metal during recasting.
3. It can be cast in open flame.
4. It has got good burnish ability and is easy to finish.
5. It can be used for making cast crown bridge and pontics and frames for hard resin crowns.
6. It can be cast at the moment ingots have melted attributed to excellent fluidity.
7. Removal of oxide layers formed during castings is not necessary for the metal oxides that are formed are lighter in density and remain behind during centrifugal casting.
